Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in the production of food items, adhering to instructions and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage the kitchen equipment, reporting any maintenance issues to the Head Chef, and ensure the effective use of resources to support business needs.
  • Train and develop junior members of the kitchen team, supervising and mentoring them to achieve high standards of performance.
  • Contribute to menu creation, incorporating guest feedback and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality food through all hotel food outlets.
  • Manage customer relations, responding to guest queries in a timely and efficient manner, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Control costs, improving gross profit margins, and achieving departmental and financial targets, while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
