Pricing Strategist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group. As an Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for developing cost analysis and costing/pricing strategies to meet the business requirements of our client, a Global leading Aerospace and Defence organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishment of Robust Estimating Plans: Develop and implement effective cost estimating methods to meet pricing requirements.
• Cost and Pricing Coordination: Ensure all aspects of the programme and associated risks are fully costed and considered.
• Cost and Pricing Modelling: Generate cost and pricing models to meet the needs of the programme and business requirements.
• Price Negotiations: Lead price negotiations with senior stakeholders.
• Data Collection: Collect historical cost, programme, and technical data from bids and actual programmes for use in near neighbour analysis.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver briefings to senior stakeholders (both internal and external).

Requirements:

• People Management Experience: Proven experience in people management.
• Senior Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing and engaging with senior stakeholders (both internal and external).
• Cost Analysis Experience: Currently operating within or has relevant operational/business experience in cost analysis, planning, forecasting, or business modelling/analysis.
• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills to be utilised in modelling and analysis with an analytical mind set and investigative approach with excellent numeracy skills.
• Education: Educated to a degree standard e.g. Maths, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Economics or equivalent experience.
• International Experience: Knowledge and experience of working overseas in a business environment.
