About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy and dedicated admin team within the Vascular Surgery department at Peterborough City Hospital.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Senior Medical Secretary and clinical team, ensuring an effective, efficient, and professional service for our patients.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be expected to perform a high level of secretarial and administration tasks, working efficiently with a high degree of accuracy and flexibility. You will be a point of contact for patients, speciality teams, and other departments for all enquiries relating to patients.

You will be responsible for tracking and managing patient pathways in accordance with National targets.

Requirements

  • Experience of using MS Office, particularly MS Word and Outlook
  • Previous Secretarial/Office experience
  • Experience of working with the general public and/or professionals
