We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Epilepsy Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our community nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing expert care and support to children and young people with epilepsy and complex needs.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualised care plans for children and young people with epilepsy and complex needs.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to families, carers, and healthcare professionals on the care and management of epilepsy.
- Work closely with a diverse range of children and young people, including those with special educational needs, to provide holistic care and support.
- Contribute to the development of our specialist service, including the management of a caseload and the delivery of training for healthcare professionals and families.
- Participate in service development and audits, and contribute to the improvement of care and services for children and young people with epilepsy and complex needs.
- RSCN/RN(child) or RGN with appropriate experience.
- Experience of working with children and young people with epilepsy and complex needs.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Working ArrangementsThis is a part-time, flexible working opportunity, with the possibility of remote working. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with some flexibility to work outside of these hours as needed.
