About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Operations Assistant to join our team at Maldron Hotel Shoreditch. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hotel Operations Management: Assist in the management of hotel operations, including food and beverage, front office, and accommodation.
  • Strategic Planning: Be involved in the strategic planning of the food and beverage department, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
  • Stock Management: Share accountability for monthly stocktake and ordering in the food and beverage department, ensuring that our inventory is always up-to-date and accurate.
  • Guest Service: Be an ambassador of exceptional service, motivating the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences and evaluating guest feedback to ensure that we are meeting our service standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with brand standards in all departments, ensuring that our hotel meets the highest standards of quality and service.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Previous supervisory experience within the hotel or hospitality industry, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of hotel operations systems, including Opera and Micros, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
