We are seeking an Operations Manager to become an integral part of our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations across all hotel departments, with a particular focus on front-facing areas such as Front of House (FOH) and Food & Beverage (F&B). This position reports directly to the Hotel Manager.

Working Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off / various shift patterns

We are looking for candidates with prior experience in both FO and F&B, demonstrating a successful history of team management. Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential, along with a positive approach to training and development, ensuring exceptional personalized service for our guests.

As an Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspiring, guiding, and nurturing supervisors and team members while maintaining a consistent management style to enhance standards and revenue.
  • Assisting Heads of Departments (HODs) in maintaining appropriate staffing levels to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Acting as a deputy in the absence of the Hotel Manager, ensuring adherence to Forbes standards.
  • Being present in each department while fostering and promoting innovation throughout all operations.
  • Identifying team weaknesses and training requirements, implementing solutions as necessary.
  • Overseeing effective recruitment practices and supporting HODs with hiring processes as needed.
  • Monitoring and updating training manuals, departmental induction guides, and job descriptions.
  • Ensuring timely action on purchases and managing departmental Profit & Loss statements when processing Purchase Orders.
