Business Development Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team at findapprenticeships.co - Jobboard. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth within the Rail Systems division and maximizing market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Proactively identify and tender for significant opportunities in the Infrastructure market, working closely with the Managing Director for Rail Systems.
  2. Lead tender submissions, including contract planning and pipeline management, to ensure successful bid outcomes.
  3. Support commercial negotiations and renegotiations for bids and tenders, collaborating with Divisional Sales, Operations, and other key stakeholders.
  4. Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities and develop strategies that maximize margins and drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
  1. At least 3 years of consistent business development and account management sales track record, with a proven ability to hit targets.
  2. Able to self-generate leads for building sales pipeline.
  3. Graduate calibre.
  4. Creative and analytical thinker.

As a Business Development Director, you will be targeting organizations in the Infrastructure market, covering the entire sales cycle from cold calling to business presentations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with good interpersonal skills and experience in opening business in a consultative manner in a B2B role.
