We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Hft Cheshire & Merseyside. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure high-quality care and support services are delivered to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager/Deputy Service Manager to ensure regulatory and legislative requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of individuals supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that individuals have access to meaningful activities, education, and employment opportunities.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure that individuals' needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Recent experience of leading shifts, motivating colleagues, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and Positive Behavioural Support management and techniques.
  • Good IT skills and experience of maintaining records.
  • Level 2 diploma in Adult Social Care and willingness to undertake the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care within an agreed timescale.
