Role Summary

The EMEA Deal Desk Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of high-profile and high-volume opportunities across Europe. This position is responsible for reviewing and preparing accurate bookable contracts, identifying potential revenue recognition issues, and collaborating with impacted parties to facilitate deal closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure contracts provide maximum bookable revenue for both the company and the sales team.
  • Understand and leverage market pricing, analytics, and financial strategies for large, complex deals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify acceptable options for deal closure.
  • Approve deals in Salesforce and serve as an escalation point to move deals forward.
  • Review exception pricing requests and their justification before forwarding them to the Deal Desk Director and CFO.
  • Share best practices and ensure compliance with company internal policies and processes.
  • Foster relationships with sales leaders and their teams.
  • Work closely with Sales Coordinators and Order Management Team.
  • Assist with ad-hoc system projects and implementation of process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of multi-country sales contracts.
  • Previous experience within a software company and working knowledge of the Salesforce system.
  • Dynamic, flexible individual capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment across up to 16 countries.
  • Preferably speaks a European language (in addition to English) to business level: French, Italian, Spanish.
  • Deadline-driven with excellent attention to detail.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic with proven analytical skills.
  • Owns extremely strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
