We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at HMP Bure, a category C prison in the UK. As a General Practitioner, you will work closely with the team to deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management
  • Prescribe for patients, regularly review medications, and monitor repeat prescriptions
  • Provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with, having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities

Requirements:

  • MBChB or MBBS Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
  • Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
  • Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
