H9 Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Compliance Specialist to join their team in Runcorn. This role will involve managing site EHS matters, ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative requirements, planning permissions, and environmental permit conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the management of environmental responsibilities in compliance with permits and licences
  • Monitoring and managing site level compliance with relevant ISO quality and other accreditations
  • Providing health and safety procedures for the O&M team
  • Investigating and reporting accidents and incidents, implementing procedural improvements
  • Liaising with the site management team on potential breaches or risks to the environment

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification at degree/HND/HNC level, such as environmental science, chemistry, or similar. They should also possess NEBOSH/IOSH certification or proven experience in H&S management. Experience in waste management, energy from waste, or power industry is highly desirable.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
