About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthoptist to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As an Orthoptist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality orthoptic services to patients, including assessing, diagnosing, and managing treatment plans.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide orthoptic services as an autonomous practitioner, managing own clinical workload and clinics
  • Take part in extended roles within ophthalmology using Ophthalmic Practitioner Training (OPT) programme
  • Support in managerial role with orthoptist or fellow colleague, junior orthoptist, and optometrist
