Job Title: Experienced Orthoptist

We are seeking an experienced orthoptist to join our team at the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As an orthoptist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality orthoptic services to patients, including assessing, diagnosing, and managing orthoptic conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide orthoptic services to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and management of orthoptic conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with orthoptic conditions.
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Registered orthoptist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in orthoptics, including adult and pediatric patients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
