Supply Chain Operations Manager

Pertemps Aylesbury is currently seeking a skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee the smooth flow of products from prototype through manufacturing and configuration. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working within a Quality Management environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product development, ensuring timely shipping, maintaining quality standards, and monitoring obsolete inventory levels. Job Overview:
This position involves coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless product delivery. You will analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize supply chain operations. Additionally, you will work closely with warehouse staff to manage stock levels and implement efficient inventory management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage product development from prototype through to manufacturing and configuration.
- Support service testing, price lists, spares, and other related tasks.
- Collaborate with UK and US warehouses for product updates and configuration.
- Analyze data to monitor and improve quality through key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain control over worldwide obsolete, slow-moving, or last-time buy component stock.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need experience working within a Quality Management environment and a strong understanding of supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including comprehensive training and opportunities for career advancement.
