We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Youth Work Team Leader to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our youth work department, you will be responsible for leading and managing our youth work services and strategy for patients aged 11-25 years across the trust.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage the delivery of youth work services and strategy across the trust
- Develop and implement effective youth work interventions to support young people with long-term health conditions
- Provide leadership and management to a team of senior youth workers
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality youth work services that meet the needs of young people and their families
- Significant post-qualification experience in youth work, preferably in a health or community setting
- Experience of managing and leading a team, service development, and change management
- Leadership skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Young people-focused and committed to working with young people and their families
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team through change
