SEMH Support Assistant for Student Success

We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with a student who requires literacy-based support. The role involves assisting the student individually or in small groups, implementing educational programs tailored to their needs, and supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons that cater to SEMH requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in education or child development, experience working with children with SEMH needs, and an understanding of SEMH challenges and strategies to support students.

In this role, you will:
- Assist students individually or in small groups with their educational activities
- Implement and adapt educational programs to meet the needs of students with SEMH
- Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons that cater to SEMH needs
- Assist teachers to manage students' classroom behavior to ensure a positive learning environment
