Education Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Education Support Specialist to join our team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Thetford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing dedicated support to students, working closely with classroom teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning strategies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to a student, assisting with both academic and emotional needs. This role requires a patient, empathetic, and committed individual who is dedicated to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student, assisting with both academic and emotional needs.
- Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning strategies.
- Help the student engage fully in classroom activities and support their development of confidence and independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a 1:1 or SEN support role.
- Patient, empathetic, and committed to student success.
- A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Able to hit the ground running and adapt to a fast-paced school environment.
