About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled E&I Engineer to join our client's Hull Plant maintenance team on a day shift basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical and instrumentation systems within the plant.

The position offers autonomy, ample opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive environment. As an E&I Engineer, you will perform maintenance of all field electrical and instrumentation equipment, develop and assist in specifying and writing E&I permits, and occasionally work shifts to provide coverage for fellow E&I Technicians.

Key Requirements:

  • ONC / HNC Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation/Process Control or equivalent
  • NVQ 3 in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation/Process Control or equivalent
  • CompEx trained for both gas and dust (Ex01 to Ex06 inclusive)
  • Proficient in maintenance, repair, and installation of E&I systems
  • Understanding of risk assessment techniques desirable
  • PLC system knowledge, particularly Siemens S7

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum. Benefits include life assurance and income protection benefits, matching pension scheme up to 10%, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and private medical options.
