As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process at the Hull Site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current business functions and processes, including raw materials, manufacturing, filling, and packaging. Proven engineering maintenance experience in a manufacturing and production environment is essential, along with experience of installing and commissioning projects.

A competitive salary of £35,000 + shift allowance per annum, plus yearly tool allowance, is on offer. Additionally, the company provides a generous pension plan, 28 days basic annual leave, and a variety of discounts/vouchers on products that Crown supplies.

Key responsibilities will include implementing cost-effective repairs/installations, employing best working practices and safety principles, and responding efficiently to changing priorities to ensure maximum production quotas are achieved. Other key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of work orders, ensuring plant hygiene standards are met, and developing a preventive maintenance schedule within the SAP system.

Possession of an ONC in Engineering Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Time Served Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technician is required, along with NVQ lvl3 in an engineering discipline and knowledge of Pneumatic and hydraulic systems. A Counterbalance FLT and MEWP license are preferable, as is IOSH certification.

This is a night-shift role, working between the hours of 10.15pm to 6am and 12pm to 6am each week. If you are a motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
