Job Title: National Sales Director

Join our team at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (Sun Pharma) as a National Sales Director, where you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and strategy for our Branded Innovator Business.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager who will develop and execute sales strategies for our new product in Ophthalmology. As a National Sales Director, you will lead the in-field team by driving short-term sales targets and long-term objectives. You will be responsible for territory mapping, reporting, and optimizing the sales team's performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for our new product in Ophthalmology
  • Lead the in-field team by driving short-term sales targets and long-term objectives
  • Establish territory mapping and reporting to optimize the sales team's performance
  • Implement commercial brand strategies and tactical brand/sales activities
  • Search, gather, and analyze market information to stay up-to-date and share relevant insights with the organization
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of customer perspectives through regular engagement with stakeholders
  • Execute multichannel customer interactions, tailoring information based on HCPs needs and priorities
  • Liaise with EU HQ to integrate EU strategy/tactics into the local brand and its execution
  • Develop and coach talent and build succession plans to ensure continuous high performance and engaged talent pipeline in Sales and Marketing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's (minimum) or Master's degree required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Ophthalmology preferred
  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership, management, and of teams and individuals, developing talent and managing performance
  • Relevant experience with proven track record of success in sales (marketing position a plus) within biotech/pharmaceutical industry
  • Commercial pharmaceutical industry knowledge and experiences such as account-based selling, stakeholder management, and marketing tactics implementation
