About the Job:

As an Accounts Payable and Procurement Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the Finance team, driving the efficient management of financial processes and ensuring accurate supplier relationships. Working closely with the Purchasing Manager, you will take ownership of all aspects of Accounts Payable, from invoice review to timely supplier payments.

Your key responsibilities will include reviewing invoices for accuracy and approval; raising purchase orders and communicating with suppliers; maintaining comprehensive financial records; building strong relationships with suppliers while resolving discrepancies; managing company credit card statements and processing employee expenses; updating supplier records and reconciling accounts; and ensuring timely payments and maintaining payment schedules.

To succeed in this role, you will require an AAT qualification or equivalent experience, with expertise in finance systems and spreadsheets. Experience within an SME is advantageous. You should be detail-oriented, highly organised, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
