Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Support Engineer to join the Subsea team based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for Expro's operational engineering activities within the Global Operations Support team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce operational and engineering documents/drawings in compliance with industry standards and Expro policies and procedures.
  • Configure and workflow operational and engineering documents/drawings in the Product Lifecycle Management system.
  • Participate in operational and engineering meetings with internal and external parties.
  • Liaise with technical departments to ensure calculations and analysis are fit for purpose.
  • Provide support for Subsea Projects as required.
  • Identify improvements to operational and engineering processes and procedures.
  • Ensure events are properly recorded and reported, and root causes are investigated and rectified.
  • Participate in project meetings and incorporate relevant comments and lessons learnt for continual improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with advances in technology or methodology.
  • Liaise with internal and external departments to resolve questions and queries.

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or appropriate industry experience.
  • Proficient in technical software packages such as AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
