Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Operations Support Engineer to join our Subsea team in Aberdeen, responsible for Expro's operational engineering activities within the Global Operations Support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce operational and engineering documents/drawings in compliance with industry standards and Expro policies and procedures.
- Configure and workflow operational and engineering documents/drawings in the Product Lifecycle Management system.
- Participate in operational and engineering meetings with internal and external parties.
- Liaise with technical departments to ensure calculations and analysis are fit for purpose.
- Provide support for Subsea Projects as required.
- Identify improvements to operational and engineering processes and procedures.
- Ensure events are properly recorded and reported, and root causes are investigated and rectified.
- Participate in project meetings, incorporating relevant comments and lessons learned.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in technology or methodology.
- Attend planning/briefing meetings, interpret documentation requirements, and understand technology applications.
- Liaise with internal and external departments to resolve questions and queries.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or appropriate industry experience.
- Proficient in technical software packages such as AutoCAD.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
