Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide first-line asset engineering support to our maintenance delivery teams, ensuring the execution of effective maintenance and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure technical competence of Electrical Maintenance delivery personnel, interviewing and testing competency and formally appointing REPs and SAEP.
  • Ensure that discipline-specific engineering work (OPEX) remains within budget.
  • Deliver a technically correct and timely engineering work (OPEX) service.
  • Develop and implement optimized preventative maintenance programs for Electrical equipment and industry best practices.
  • Engage and participate in operational improvement processes to optimize discipline-specific engineering (OPEX) support.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree
  • HNC/HND with extensive Electrical Engineering experience
  • Professional accredited Engineer
  • Extensive knowledge of Engineering technical practices and legislation (ideally 10 years)
  • Considerable relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily gained in an engineering and production operations environment
  • Good working knowledge and application of relevant UK oil and gas industry regulations, particularly Electrical Regulations
