Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Wood PLC. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to our maintenance delivery teams, ensuring the execution of effective maintenance and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance delivery teams to ensure effective maintenance and repair activities.
  • Act as Engineering Authority (EA3) to provide qualified engineering guidance and endorsement of engineering change, maintenance deferrals, ORA's etc.
  • Identify and provide cost-effective engineering solutions to plant operations and maintenance problems.
  • Collaborate closely with EA's and Technical function to ensure effective technical support.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering, with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. You will also need to have a good working knowledge of relevant UK oil and gas industry regulations, including electrical regulations. Additionally, you will need to have experience with SAP PM and other CMMS systems.
