Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Support Engineer to join the Subsea team based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce operational and engineering documents/drawings in compliance with industry standards and Expro policies and procedures.
  • Workflow operational and engineering documents/drawings in the Product Lifecycle Management system and configure as required.
  • Actively participate in operational and engineering meetings with internal and external parties.
  • Liaise with other technical departments to ensure calculations and analysis are fit for purpose.
  • Provide support for all Subsea Projects as required.
  • Identify improvements to operational and engineering processes and procedures.
  • Ensure events are properly recorded and reported, and root causes are investigated and rectified.
  • Participate in project meetings, incorporating relevant comments and lessons learnt for continual improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with advances in technology or methodology.
  • Attend planning/briefing meetings, interpret documentation requirements, and understand technology and applications.
  • Liaise with internal and external departments to resolve questions and queries.

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or appropriate industry experience.
  • Proficient in technical software packages such as AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
