Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team at Costa Coffee. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and leading a team of baristas and sales assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a warm and welcoming environment for our customers.
- Manage store operations, including inventory, stock control, and cash handling.
- Lead and motivate a team of baristas and sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including allergen awareness and risk assessments.
- Monitor and control stock levels, waste, and sales performance to optimize store profitability.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company policies.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to be available for shifts as required.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures, including allergen awareness and risk assessments.
