Accounting and Administrative Specialist

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, including assisting with various financial processes and administrative tasks.
Key Tasks:- Purchase Ledger: Verify purchase invoices, reconcile delivery notes, and ensure alignment with purchase orders.
- Sales Ledger: Oversee the management of the Sales Ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Credit Control: Monitor and ensure timely payments from clients/customers.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up to date.
- Payroll Admin: Assist with payroll preparation tasks as required by the Managers.
- Finance Queries: Manage internal and external finance queries through telephone and email communication.
- Proficiency with Sage software is essential.
- Previous experience in a finance-related role is required.
- Bookkeeping experience is necessary.
- Credit Control experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel is essential.
This is a full-time position working 8am-5pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am-3pm on Fridays, with some flexibility offered.
