Nursery Teacher Role at Wayman Learning Trust

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Teacher to join our team in Folkestone, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational journey of young children.

As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum. You will foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere that promotes student growth and development.
  • Individualised Support: Provide tailored support to students based on their unique abilities and learning styles.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • Pedagogy: Passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
