About the Opportunity
The Sodexo Group is seeking a Teaching Excellence Specialist to join its team of educators in women's prisons. This role involves developing and implementing innovative educational programs that promote prisoner rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and review educational materials, including syllabuses, resources, and teaching strategies, to ensure effective learning outcomes and promote academic excellence.
• Monitor learner attendance and progress, analyzing performance data to inform program improvement and identify areas for growth.
• Stay informed about national developments in teaching practices and methodologies, providing training to staff on best practices.
• Teach up to 50% of the working week, delivering English and maths to Level 2, promoting student achievement and well-being.

Requirements
An ideal candidate should possess a full teaching qualification, including QTLS, and a recognised Level 4 qualification in basic/functional skills English or maths. Experience teaching disadvantaged groups or in a prison environment is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for education are essential qualities.

What We Offer
Sodexo offers a competitive salary of approximately $58,000 - $78,000 per annum, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including access to a retirement plan, online shopping discounts, and a confidential employee assistance programme.
