About the Role: We are seeking a Special Needs Teacher to join our team at a welcoming and inclusive school in Ashford. As a Special Needs Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored, high-quality education to students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:*

  • Delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to provide holistic support.
  • Creating a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that encourages students' personal and academic growth.
  • Tracking progress and reporting on student outcomes to ensure the best possible learning experience.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring student well-being.

Requirements:*

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching students with special educational needs, particularly within primary or secondary education settings.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks, strategies, and best practices.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.

Salary Information: The estimated annual salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
