Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Director to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic client in the FMCG industry, driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships.
About the Role:
The Key Account Director will be responsible for managing key accounts across the HORECA category, focusing on building strong relationships with buyers and driving sales growth. You will work closely with the commercial director to develop and implement customer category strategies and best-in-class execution.
You will be accountable for achieving/exceeding all key sales measures and targets for the accounts, including net revenue, company operating profit, net working capital, and trade spend. Additionally, you will partner with demand planning to ensure customer service levels are met/exceeded and manage customer negotiations in relation to commercial strategy and trading terms.
Requirements:
- At least three (3) years of business development account management experience within the coffee or FMCG industry.
- Experience selling into a broad portfolio of customers, ideally high-end and authentic establishments, HORECA category (little black book).
- Strong understanding of FMCG fast-moving consumer goods, degree from a top university, and demonstrated strong fact-based selling.
- Demonstrated growing business with significant sales results.
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong knowledge of syndicated data and customer management process, as well as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel required.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position also offers a range of benefits, including car allowance, bonus structure, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
