Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our Building Management Systems (BMS) team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building services engineering, with experience in designing and implementing BMS systems across various industry sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from office fit-outs to industrial and government facilities. You will be responsible for developing and formulating solutions to client problems, as well as providing technical support and input to the BMS team.

The ideal candidate will have commercial experience in the building services industry, including installation and testing of control systems, commissioning, and document writing. Strong technical skills in controls, BMS, and mechanical and electrical systems design are essential, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at senior manager/director level.

Additional responsibilities include sector engagement, production/workload management, IMS quality management, project finances, knowledge management, promotion of SH&E good practice, and commercial experience in the building services industry.
