Are you a seasoned systems engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced lead to join our multi-disciplinary engineering teams responsible for the delivery of our world-class family of Surveillance AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) radars, and our radar for the SAAB Gripen fighter jets, across their lifecycle.

About the Role

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of Supportability Engineers who deliver a wide range of Supportability Engineering work packages. You will work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and other functions within the IPT to advise on Supportability requirements, provide analysis, and offer guidance. Your expertise in reliability analysis, maintainability, testability, and safety will be crucial in ensuring that our equipment meets its operational capability.

We are looking for someone with strong industry experience, preferably in electronics or hardware, but also open to candidates from other disciplines. You will have a degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline and commercial and business awareness. Experience in engineering management and delivery of project work packages is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop component to system level reliability models using Reliability Block Diagram Methodology
  • Implement Failure Modes Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMEA/FMECA)
  • Maintainability Analysis: Modular to system level analysis addressing Human Factors and Maintenance Task Analysis
  • Testability Analysis: FMECA analysis working closely with Hardware engineers
  • Product Safety: Analysis of design, assembly, test, and operation to complete Intrinsic Product Safety hazard and Environment Impact Analysis

We expect you to ensure milestones are completed to schedule and budget while maintaining technical quality. You will provide expert input into Life Cycle Management reviews and work alongside the IPT to reduce cost and risk across the lifecycle.
