About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join our UK team in the Global Healthcare Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare Team and contributing to the delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Structural Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of the UK Healthcare Team through exceptional project management and client liaison skills.
  • Develop and oversee structural concepts and design philosophies, ensuring alignment with our company's values and goals.
  • Inspire and motivate engineers and technicians on your projects, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Support key accounts and develop new clients, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
  • Contribute to UK Healthcare team sector business development strategies, identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion.
  • Produce high-quality fee proposals, showcasing your technical expertise and business acumen.
  • Implement best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.
  • Manage your own projects, allocating resources and coordinating tasks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer with a strong background in the UK Healthcare sector. You will have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, MIStructE or MICE, and a thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360. You will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity. You will also have a strong understanding of project commercial and technical risks, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
