Structural Engineer Associate

We are seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join our UK Healthcare Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare business, working on projects in London and South East England, and collaborating with our global team.
Your Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of Structural Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Raise the profile and reputation of our UK Healthcare Team, promoting our services and expertise to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee structural concepts and design philosophies, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Inspire and motivate engineers and technicians on your projects, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings and ensuring effective communication.
- Support key accounts and develop new clients, identifying business opportunities and driving growth.
- Contribute to UK Healthcare team sector business development strategies, providing expertise and insights to inform our approach.
- Produce high-quality fee proposals, ensuring accurate and compelling presentations of our services.
- Implement best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.
- Manage your own projects, allocating resources and coordinating tasks to ensure successful project delivery.
- You must have demonstrable experience with UK Healthcare sector projects, such as the building of hospitals within the UK.
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
- MIStructE or MICE and a thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
- Understanding of project commercial and technical risks.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts in plain language, verbally and in writing.
- Able to motivate and inspire confidence both internally and externally across geographical borders.
- Able to work autonomously on all technical aspects of the discipline.
