About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join our UK Healthcare team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare business, working on projects in London and South East England, and collaborating with our global team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Structural Engineers, developing and overseeing structural concepts and design philosophies.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of our UK Healthcare Team, inspiring and enthusing engineers and technicians on your projects.
  • Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings, and supporting key accounts and developing new clients.
  • Implement best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.
  • Manage your own projects, acting as a structural engineering project manager to allocate resources and coordinate tasks.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer with a strong background in the UK Healthcare sector, preferably with experience in building hospitals within the UK. You should have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, MIStructE or MICE, and a thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.

You should have excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity, and a strong understanding of project commercial and technical risks. You should also be an excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex technical concepts in plain language, verbally and in writing.
