Are you looking to launch a new career in health and safety? We're seeking companies that require our Health & Safety Traineeship graduates. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
This traineeship can be completed at your own pace, whether working full-time, part-time, or unemployed. The process consists of 4 easy steps, and you can be placed into your first role within 3-6 months:
- Step 1 - Introduction to Health & Safety
Start by studying the Introduction to Health & Safety online course. This will cover the basics of health and safety through video tutorials, quizzes, and presentations. - Step 2 - NEBOSH Certification
Choose from the NEBOSH General, Construction, or Fire Safety course, depending on your desired career path. NEBOSH sets high standards, making it the most sought-after qualification globally. Becoming NEBOSH certified will set you apart in the field. - Step 3 - Risk Assessments
In this step, you'll apply what you've learned by writing risk assessments to workplace standards. This ensures you've retained the information and meets the requirements for NEBOSH certification. - Step 4 - NEBOSH Exams
Once ready, sit the official NEBOSH exams, which we'll book for you. You can take the exams in an official testing centre or online (currently only available for the general certificate). After passing your exams, you'll be eligible to move onto our recruitment stage and start your new career in health and safety.
Your Job Upon Completion
After completing the mandatory training and exams, we'll place you in an entry-level health & safety role as an advisor, officer, or coordinator. Your starting salary will be £25K-£40K.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage health and safety policies, safety training, and document control systems.
- Update and create standard operating procedures and assist in implementing continuous improvement safety projects.
- E nsure all health & safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are followed, reviewed, updated, and communicated.
- Complete regular reviews of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
- Conduct safety inspections, fire drills, and ensure fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments, and lone working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
The cost of this opportunity is £1095 or a deposit of £162, followed by 10 interest-free monthly instalments of £113. If you're not offered a role after the training, we'll refund 100% of your course fees. Please note that this is a training course and fees apply.
