About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and transport services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to their destinations
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support during transport
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements:

  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS
  • Excellent communication skills, including IT ability
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst delivering genuine care
  • Demonstrate resilience
  • Able to work as part of a team effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail

Working Hours:

We offer a range of shift patterns to suit your needs, including full-time 46.25 hours contract and full-time 40.3 hours contract. Please note that due to the nature of the business and client requirements, we reserve the right to change working times with reasonable notice.

Salary: This contract is paid at a blended hourly rate ranging from £11.62 p/h to £12.62 p/h (Day, Night and Weekend Shifts). Annual remuneration to start from £25,735.85 to £29,278.60, based on expected hours. This is to be discussed during the interview process.

Additional Benefits:

  • Enhanced pay of £1.20 extra per hour for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities, supporting ward staff
