We are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. As a Speech and Language Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children who require additional support with their speech and language skills.

**Salary:**

The successful candidate can expect to earn up to £600 per week until July 2025, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and financial stability.

**Job Description:**

As a Speech and Language Graduate Teaching Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to identify the needs of children with speech and language difficulties.

- Delivering individualised interventions to help children build their language skills.

- Collaborating with teachers to ensure that the children's needs are met and they receive the best possible support.

- Maintaining accurate records of progress and reporting back to the SENCO and teachers.

- Supporting children in lessons to help them access the curriculum and make progress.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Speech and Language Therapy, SALT, Psychology or Linguistics.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A patient and empathetic approach to working with children who may have challenging behaviour.
