About the Role
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Digital Transformation Director. This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Trust's digital strategy, ensuring the provision of high-quality digital services that meet the needs of patients, staff, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the Trust's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of digital services, including electronic patient records, clinical systems, and other digital infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior clinicians and managers to ensure the delivery of digital services that meet the needs of patients and staff.
- Oversee the financial management of digital services, ensuring that all financial targets are delivered.
- Proactively seek to identify and develop digital solutions that maximize the financial efficiency of other Trust departments.
About the Trust
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The Trust works collaboratively within the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership, providing acute emergency and elective services, primary care direct access services, and obstetric services to a population of approximately 407,000.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital transformation, with experience of leading large-scale change programs in a complex organization. They will have a deep understanding of digital and data services in the NHS, including current infrastructures and technologies. The candidate will also have significant experience at a senior management level, with a proven track record of delivering financial and performance targets.
