Digital Transformation Director

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead its digital transformation efforts. As the Director of Digital Services, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the Trust's overall goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of the Trust's digital strategy, ensuring alignment with NHS England and ICB agendas.
- Oversee the management of digital and data services, including financial management and budgeting.
- Collaborate with senior clinicians and managers to deliver clinical and administrative transformation programs.
- Develop and implement digital solutions to maximize financial efficiency and improve patient care.
- Ensure the Trust's digital infrastructure and services are safe, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and Welsh patients. The Trust works collaboratively within the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership and employs over 6,258 staff. The Trust provides acute emergency and elective services, primary care direct access services, and obstetric services to a population of approximately 407,000.
Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in a relevant field, such as IT or digital services, and significant experience at a senior management level. They will also have in-depth knowledge of current digital and data infrastructures and technologies, as well as experience of strategy development and liaison at board level.
