**Job Title:** Supplier Quality Engineer

**About the Role**

We're seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of components, systems, and processes throughout our supply chain. As a key member of our quality team, you'll collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to drive quality assurance, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support new product introduction by coordinating and monitoring supplier APQP activities.
  • Develop and maintain inspection plans for incoming components and subassemblies.
  • Review, approve, and maintain records of supplier PPAPs and related quality documentation.
  • Drive supplier performance improvements through collaborative initiatives and data-driven problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to implement and validate quality tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
  • Lead supplier root cause analysis and ensure effective resolution of quality concerns.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for quality matters within the supplier base, fostering strong relationships and engagement.
  • Present quality performance data effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

**Requirements**

  1. Degree in Engineering or a recognized Quality Management qualification.
  2. Proven experience in supplier quality or quality engineering roles, preferably in automotive or similar industries.
  3. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans).
  4. Experience with metrology, GD&T, and inspection equipment.
  5. Familiarity with NPI processes and managing supplier performance throughout the product lifecycle.
  6. Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
  7. Willingness to travel on short notice within the UK and internationally.
  8. Full, clean driving license.

Estimated Salary: £58,000 - £68,000 per annum
