About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Health Specialist to join our team as a PIP Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

As a PIP Assessor, you will conduct assessments to produce reports that help determine a person's eligibility for benefits. You will work closely with individuals to gain a deep understanding of their needs and develop clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate how a person's disability or health condition impacts their daily life
  • Produce high-quality reports to inform benefit decisions
  • Prioritise ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with best practices in clinical assessment and reporting

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration number
  • At least one year of post-registration experience in adult or mental health settings
  • Right to work in the UK (Maximus cannot offer sponsorships)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using computer software to create detailed reports
