Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our general building construction company. This role requires a proactive approach to managing projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and optimising contract performance while maintaining a high level of health and safety across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and programme our labour resource with other site managers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Procure specialist labour when needed to meet project requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and progress these relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop a proactive and solution-focused approach to all aspects of the job, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Manage up to 4 site managers across various contracts, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist with variations and estimating where necessary to ensure accurate project costing.
  • Work closely with the commercial manager and QS to ensure effective project management.
  • Review and manage site safety and quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Deliver successful construction projects within tight time and budget constraints, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Full driving license.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  • Ability to work 7.30am - 5pm weekdays.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
