Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and inspire our Contracts Department at our Wolverhampton site. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in business capture activities, contract management, and strategic development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the strategic direction of the Wolverhampton site and the broader business division.
  • Lead and coordinate contracts improvement initiatives and supervise a team of approximately 5 to 10 direct and indirect reports.
  • Act as the site's contractual/legal expert, providing edification, training, and support to the Contracts Department members.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of UK regulations and a willingness to learn US FAR/DFAR regulations.
  • Develop and administer regulatory training programs to meet government and other regulatory specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in Contracts Administration on complex aerospace, defense, or military programs.
  • Working knowledge of the Military of Defense (MoD), US Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and US Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFARs).
  • Experience with UK and . Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
