Critical Care Medicine Specialist

As a Senior Adult Intensive Care Medicine Fellow, you will be a key member of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team providing advanced respiratory and cardiovascular critical care support, including ECMO and inhaled nitric oxide in adult patients. You will gain valuable experience in the initiation and ongoing management of patients on veno-venous and veno-arterial ECMO, as well as the management of surgical and medical Cardiothoracic intensive care patients.
Key responsibilities include day-to-day care of Adult intensive care patients, transport of patients, training in ECMO, audit, research, and teaching. The successful candidate will be assigned an educational supervisor and will have regular meetings to discuss educational goals.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £90,000-£110,000, depending on experience. The role requires evidence of teaching at an undergraduate or postgraduate level, understanding of research methodology, and clear, fluent, and articulate verbal and written presentation skills.
