Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Transformation Unit as a Nuclear Medicine Physics Specialist. This role is ideal for a technologist or radiographer with an interest in Nuclear Medicine or a physics graduate looking to transition into a career in healthcare science.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert knowledge in the field of Nuclear Medicine, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Protocols and relevant legislation.
  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to perform duties and participate in quality control programs.
  • Undertake other duties assigned by the Head of Nuclear Medicine Physics, including preparation of radioactive phantoms and management of spreadsheets.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of routine Nuclear Medicine procedures and experience working with complex imaging equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
