We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our team in Norwich. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive management accountancy support to a Senior Finance Analyst.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting Budget Managers in the preparation of Annual Directorate Budgets, reconciling to Corporate Business Plan.">
  • Assisting in the production of timely and accurate Monthly Budget Reports, forecasts, and variance analysis, in line with Department deadlines for specified areas.">
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate Budgetary Control Records, and Establishment Records, for specified areas.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • Experience in budgetary control, financial planning, and forecasting.">
  • Knowledge of NHS financial regime, including NHS Constitutional Values, Trust Standing Orders, Standing Financial Instructions, and IFRS application to an NHS organisation.">
  • Significant experience in a financial management role, with individual responsibility for budgeting, monitoring, and reporting on specific cost centres/projects, and experience of managing and developing junior staff within a team.">

Benefits:

This is a full-time temporary contract position, offering a competitive salary of £37,338-£44,962 (pro-rata) depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work from home after a probationary period.
