Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Lead

We're excited to be part of the future of UK energy at Cadent, and we're looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a vital role in developing and implementing comprehensive awareness programs to ensure a strong security culture.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing awareness programs, developing and conducting training sessions, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a cohesive whole. You'll also be accountable for staying abreast of emerging threats, analyzing user behavior, and tailoring educational initiatives to address specific risks.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field, as well as several years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field. You'll also need to have relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive awareness programs to ensure a strong security culture.
  • Design and deliver training sessions to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive whole.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and analyze user behavior to inform awareness initiatives.
